Family Literacy:

Family Literacy/ESL Program
Located at Goss Elementary School, this program provides beginning ESL classes to parents in order to support the education of their school age children. Childcare is provided for their preschool children while parents attend the program. The program operates Monday through Thursday for three hours daily and is offered from October to May during the school year. The program is provided at no cost to the participants.

This program is funded by CDE & Federal WIA grants and is implemented through a collaboration with the Alum Rock Union Elementary School District.
